Claude connects to Tindre as a custom connector and sends the user through Tindre’s OAuth sign-in. No personal access token needs to be pasted into Claude.
- 1
Add a custom connector
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- 2
Paste the Tindre MCP address
Use the exact endpoint shown under Settings → API & MCP.
- 3
Sign in to Tindre
Choose the organization and approve the connection.
- 4
Verify the consent
The client appears under Connected AI clients in Tindre settings.
Personal plans
Custom connectors are available on Free, which allows one, and on Pro and Max. The connection acts as the signed-in Tindre user and changes immediately when that user’s permissions change.
Team and Enterprise rollout
Two steps in Claude’s organization settings, both needing Owner or Admin rights: add a custom connector with the Tindre server address under Connectors, and optionally paste a short instruction under Organization and access → Organization instructions. Members still authenticate individually. Organization instructions reach every message for every person, so keep them short and require Claude to say when no governing Standard exists.
Disconnect
Remove the consent under Settings → API & MCP → Connected AI clients. Disconnecting ends the associated access and refresh tokens.
Claude Code
Tindre does not publish a Claude Code plugin. Configure the ordinary remote MCP server using the address and the person’s approved authentication path.
