Search by more than a name
The search field matches a name, an address, a Group or a Role — so "who handles procurement" is answerable without knowing whose job it is.
The Role tree is drawn elsewhere
People answers "who is this person and how do I reach them". The Axis and Role tree itself — responsibility as a structure rather than as a list of colleagues — is the Map view under Standards.
Readable by default
Reading this is organizational literacy, not an administrator secret, and the seeded viewer role can do it. Editing the structure is gated separately, under Administration.
