What's new

What changed in Tindre in each release, in the words of the people who use it.

Each release lists the changes you can notice. Newest first.

v1.39.0, 12 October 2026

  • Paste SharePoint site addresses (New): In the web app, you can now paste a SharePoint site address directly into the site search when setting up or managing your SharePoint integration. The page is simpler: each site row shows whether Tindre can read it. Under Settings → My integrations, connected integrations move from the catalog to your list for easier management. In Knowledge, the sync form for SharePoint and Confluence is streamlined, and you can paste a SharePoint link into the search. This is in beta.

v1.38.0, 11 October 2026

  • Agent keys and sharing by token (New): You can now use your personal access token to give an Agent its API keys and share it from the command line or a script, the same way you would in Tindre.
  • API Agents can answer in JSON (New): You can now give an API Agent an answer schema, and every answer it gives through the API or MCP comes back as a matching object under output, ready to use. Set it up under Instructions, in the answer format, by describing the fields or letting Tindre suggest them, and test it in the playground.
  • Custom icons and markdown editing (New): You can now add an icon to an Area when you create it or change it later. Edit the Area’s settings and description at any time. In the editor, convert blocks to headings, lists or quotes, and paste markdown while keeping its formatting.
