Billing

Coming soon

The arrangement Tindre recorded for your organization, the invoices it produces, and how they settle.

Billing shows what your organization agreed to, what it has been invoiced, and where each invoice stands. Reading it needs the billing.read permission.

Terms are recorded, not self-serve

Nobody changes a plan from inside the product. The commercial terms — the plan, the period, any discount, purchased blocks and one-off services — are recorded by Tindre against your organization, and every such write is audited with a stated reason. What you see here is that arrangement, read back.

Invoices are issued in advance

A billing period covers 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months, anchored on the agreement's first day. The anchor does not move when the arrangement changes, so an increase partway through a quarter leaves the next renewal exactly where it was. The increase is charged as an extension — the difference for the months that remain — which joins the next ordinary invoice on periods shorter than a year, and becomes its own document on annual and two-year periods.

Invoices carry VAT per line and a legal invoice number assigned by the accounting system.

Two ways an invoice settles

  • Bank transfer, against the payment terms on the arrangement.
  • A stored payment authorization, collected automatically, with retries.

An automatic invoice that stays unpaid leads to suspension, which closes the organization: nobody can sign in until it is lifted.

What is never on the bill

Usage above an allowance is not invoiced as overage, and model consumption is not a billing axis at all. If an allowance is too small, the answer is a change to the arrangement rather than a variable charge.
