Organization settings hold tenant-wide values that do not belong to one product feature. Keep them stable and recognizable because they appear across invitations, product chrome, governance, and external connections.
Shared identity
The organization name and common defaults.
Product use
Invitations, navigation, governance, and connections.
Audit
A record of important administrative changes.
Maintain the organization identity
Use the official name and approved identifying information. Changing a display label does not create a new tenant or move data; it changes how the existing organization is presented.
Separate settings by responsibility
Authentication belongs under Sign-in, model availability under Models, and the sub-processor ceiling under Security.
Review broad effects
The organization name and logo appear in invitations, product chrome, and anywhere the organization is presented.
Audit administrative changes
If a change produces unexpected behavior, restore the intended setting rather than trying to compensate in each Agent.
